How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1990!

What are your hours of operation?
Typically 7 days a week 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., however, other arrangements can be made.

How many people can I expect to see on my project?
We work in either 2 or 3 man teams.

Are you Insured?
We carry two million dollars of liability insurance, workman’s compensation insurance and we are licensed.

When can I expect an estimate?
Estimates will be handwritten during your visit with Tony or emailed within 24-48 hours.

What if I have trouble picking colors?
With every project over $2,500.00 we will provide a one hour consultation with a certified interior designer. The final decision (and responsibility) is ultimately yours.

What do I need to do ahead of time?
We simply ask that you move or remove all small, breakable items so we can quickly move the large furniture. We will remove blinds as needed. Elaborate window treatments / drapery will be the responsibility of the homeowner.

What brands of materials do you use?
Since every job is different, we do not lock ourselves into one particular brand or line of paint or materials. We are familiar with the different qualities of many major brands and propose the appropriate product for your project. We will propose a few options available to you, inform you of the pros and cons of each product and allow you to make an informed decision.

Are there any hidden charges?
Absolutely not.

What about payment?
We take no money until the job is done. We do, however, request payment in full upon completion of the work. Cash, check and credit cards are all accepted.

How do I choose the right contractor?
Once you have decided to hire a repaint specialist for a particular project, selecting the right person or firm becomes a matter of price, size of company, years in business, and other criteria. Selecting a group of names is the easy part – many sources are available to find potential contractor names, e.g., the Internet, friends, relatives, architects, decorators, yellow pages, trade associations, local “quality- oriented” paint supply stores, and newspaper advertisements. However, these sources can only give you limited general information. In order to make an educated decision, you need some specific information about any person or firm you are considering hiring.

Contract – Reputable contractors will provide a written contract. The contract will provide (and explain): the scope of the work to be performed, objects to be repaired, methods and extent of surface preparation, surfaces to be painted, time schedules for the project, and payment procedures. (These details allow a better comparison of multiple bids.) The contract serves to protect both you and the contractor.

Testimonials and References – Obtain a list of references from the prospective contractor. This list should include the contact person, address, and telephone number of the previous client. Remember, the contractor is not likely to give you a bad reference. Therefore, ask references if they know of any other work this contractor has performed. Be sure to ask whether the contractor and employees treated you professionally and with respect. The references you are interested in should be from projects similar in size and scope to yours. These projects should span several years — this will help determine if the work is consistent or improving.
